Is it one of the frequently ignored problems?

There are many types of toxic people in the workplace… manipulators, bullies, gossips, negative people, sabotagers, and those whose presence just sucks the life out of a room.

In our personal lives, we can choose our friends and whom we have contact with, but it’s more difficult to do so in the office – we are forced to see them for at least 40 hours a week and to work with them on a daily or project basis.

I can find a lot of posts talking about what you should do and what you should not in the workplace. When reading those posts, it makes us believe that if we are good everything around us will be good. But it is not so in some cases. There are toxic people to be dealt with. Dealing with them drains your energy, puts you in a negative mood, distracts you from your work, occupies space in your already busy brain, and can ruin your mood.

I have met people who have lost their confidence or even left the workplace because of such people and the environment.
I wish people would share their experience on how they had dealt with such problems or have been dealing with such toxic people.
