  Job Description:
  • Provides technical leadership and implementation support for PSP projects at provincial and local levels
  • Ensures effective planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of project activities
  • Conducts field monitoring and technical supervision of infrastructure and municipal projects
  • Ensures quality implementation and compliance with technical standards
  • Supports coordination of key initiatives such as:
    • Integrated Emergency Response Center
    • Municipal Solid Waste Management systems
  • Works closely with provincial ministries and local governments for project implementation
  • Acts as a technical liaison between government institutions and PSP programme
  • Strengthens institutional capacity of provincial and local government bodies
  • Provides technical backstopping and problem-solving support during project implementation
  • Promotes learning, documentation, and knowledge sharing across projects
  • Ensures sustainability of infrastructure and service delivery systems
  • Supports improved governance, efficiency, and performance of public sector projects
  • Integrates gender equality, social inclusion (GESI), and sustainability principles in all activities
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Master’s degree in Engineering / Urban Planning / Infrastructure Development or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in infrastructure or municipal service projects
  • Strong experience in monitoring, evaluation, and field supervision
  • Knowledge of local government systems and public sector implementation
  • Experience in Nepal’s infrastructure or municipal development projects
  • Ability to coordinate with government stakeholders
  • Technical reporting and analytical skills
  • Experience in emergency response or waste management systems (advantage)
  • Commitment to inclusive and sustainable development
Education + Experience
  • Master’s degree in:
    • Engineering
    • Urban Planning
    • Infrastructure Development
    • Or related field
  • Preferred: Master’s + Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering
